These Sezzle Premium Subscription Terms (“Subscription Terms”) and any Sezzle subscriptions are subject to the Sezzle User Agreement (“User Agreement”). Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings given in the User Agreement.
Sezzle Premium Subscription
Sezzle Premium is an automatically renewing subscription service requiring recurring payments. A Sezzle Premium subscription gives you access to new features, exclusive merchants, priority support, special deals and discounts, and one (1) extra free payment reschedule per Order.
Sezzle Premium subscriptions are offered for various intervals, which will be displayed at the time of sign-up. The subscription fee is payable at the start of the relevant period based on the subscription interval that you choose, and the subscription automatically renews for the same amount of time as your selected interval. By signing up for any Sezzle Premium subscription and providing Sezzle with your payment account information, you agree that: (a) you will be charged your first Sezzle Premium subscription fee and any applicable taxes on the date you purchase your Sezzle Premium subscription; (b) you authorize Sezzle and its service providers to store your payment method for the purpose of executing future Sezzle Premium subscription auto-renewal transactions; (c) UNLESS YOU CANCEL, BY DEFAULT (AND WITH PRIOR NOTICE ONLY TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW), YOUR SEZZLE PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AT THE END OF THE THEN-CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD, and (d) AT THE TIME OF RENEWAL, SEZZLE WILL AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE THE THEN-CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION FEE AND ANY APPLICABLE TAXES TO ANY ELIGIBLE PAYMENT METHODS THAT WE HAVE ON FILE FOR YOU. RENEWAL OF THE SEZZLE PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION AND ASSOCIATED CHARGES WILL OCCUR ON THE AGREED UPON RENEWAL DATE SHOWN DURING THE JOINING OF THE PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION. YOU CAN CHECK THIS DATE IN THE SEZZLE APP UNDER MEMBERSHIP DETAILS. If your payment details change, your card provider may provide us with updated card details. You agree that we may use these new details or details from other cards on file in order to help prevent any interruption to your Sezzle Premium subscription. If you have not canceled your Sezzle Premium subscription, we will attempt all card payment methods on file for up to thirty (30) days after the subscription renewal date. If you would like to use a different payment method or if there is a change in payment method, update your payment and billing information.
Trial or Promotional Subscriptions: From time to time, Sezzle offers some customers trial or other promotional Premium subscription discounts. Such trial or promotional subscriptions are subject to the terms displayed at the time of sign-up, these Subscription Terms and the User Agreement. Free trials will be as indicated in the respective promotion but, in no event, longer than one (1) month (“Trial Period”). BY SIGNING UP FOR SUCH A TRIAL OR PROMOTIONAL PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION, YOU UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN YOUR FREE TRIAL PERIOD HAS EXPIRED, YOUR SEZZLE PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY CONVERT INTO A PAID SUBSCRIPTION, AND SEZZLE WILL CHARGE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD(S) THE APPLICABLE FEE. If you cancel the subscription before the Trial Period has expired, Sezzle will not charge you for the subscription. At the conclusion of the applicable Trial Period, you will be charged the subscription fee, as indicated in the applicable promotion. If you purchase a Sezzle Premium subscription or upgrade your existing Premium subscription with a promotional code, each time your Sezzle Premium subscription renews, you will be charged the full billing amount. Only one trial or promotional Premium subscription is available per household. If your Premium subscription is ever terminated for any reason, you shall not be eligible for a free trial on any subsequent promotional subscription. Your Premium subscription will continue to renew until canceled. Please see the Cancellations section below for more information on cancelling a trial or promotional subscription.
Cancellations: You can cancel your Sezzle Premium subscription at any time through the Sezzle app or by contacting Shopper Support. You must cancel at least one (1) day before the next-scheduled Premium subscription renewal date to avoid being charged for the next subscription period (e.g., if renewal date is January 10, you must cancel by 11:59:59 pm PT on January 9).
FOR ANNUAL SUBSCRIBERS ONLY, if you cancel your Sezzle Premium subscription within the first 48 hours and have not placed an eligible order during that period, Sezzle may, in its sole discretion, refund your subscription fee.
Except as otherwise stated, if you cancel your Sezzle Premium subscription, you will not receive a refund, but you can continue to enjoy the subscription and other included benefits through the end of your then-current subscription period.
If you have a failed payment on an outstanding Order, have a rescheduled payment, or are suspected of fraud, you will be unable to make any new purchases using your Sezzle subscription until all payments have been made and any outstanding or delinquent balances have been paid.
If you signed up for an additional third-party benefit not provided by Sezzle, you will need to contact the third party to cancel your membership through them or receive any refund under its applicable policies. Sezzle Premium subscriptions redeemed through a gift code or promotional code are not refundable.
Updates and Changes: Sezzle prices and features may change in the future. For any Sezzle Premium subscription, Sezzle reserves the right to change or modify the subscription offerings with or without notice to the extent permitted by applicable law. Such changes may include changes to subscription fees, features and benefits, payment frequency and payment method procedures. If Sezzle changes your Sezzle Premium subscription, Sezzle will, where required by law, notify you and provide you with the opportunity to change your Sezzle Premium subscription before the Premium subscription is renewed for another term. The notice may include details of the amended clause, and we may allow you to cancel your subscription as set out in the applicable notice. Your continued use of the Services after the change becomes effective will constitute your acceptance of the change. If you do not wish to continue subscribing with the new change, you may cancel your Sezzle Premium subscription. Any Sezzle Premium subscriptions will be subject to the terms and conditions in effect at the time you sign up or your subscription renews. Sezzle may also make such changes with respect to current Sezzle Premium subscriptions. In that case, Sezzle will, where required by law, provide you with notice via email of the changes and when those changes will take effect. If you disagree with the changes to your current Sezzle Premium Subscription Terms and conditions, you may cancel your Sezzle Premium subscription. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you are located in a jurisdiction at the time at which these Subscription Terms are entered into that requires your consent to any changes to your Premium subscription, any such changes with respect to the Services provided by Sezzle or your obligations under the subscription will not take effect until you have provided affirmative consent to such changes. All Sezzle Premium subscriptions are subject to Sezzle’s discretion and geographic availability. Sezzle Premium is not available to residents of Quebec.
Transfers, Assignments & Cancellations: You cannot transfer or assign your Sezzle Premium subscription. Sezzle reserves the right to accept, refuse, suspend, or cancel your Sezzle Premium subscription at any time in its sole discretion.
